Attorney Joseph M. DiGianfilippo is a partner in the firm and a Rhode Island native, Providence College Suffolk University Law School graduate, and has been practicing law since 1970. For more than twenty years, he was the managing partner of Sutherland & DiGianfilippo, a law firm located in Woonsocket, Rhode Island. During his tenure as the managing partner, Attorney DiGianfilippo represented many of the credit unions in Rhode Island in federal regulatory matters, NCUA compliance issues, as well as residential and commercial closings. Attorney DiGianfilippo is recognized in the legal community for his superior knowledge of banking transactions, credit union regulatory issues, as well as for his ethical fortitude, having served as Special Assistant Disciplinary Counsel to the Rhode Island Supreme Court in 1989. Attorney DiGianfilippo has extensive experience in all aspects of residential and commercial real estate law and lending practices. He is a member of the Massachusetts and Rhode Island Bar Associations.
